Summer, Autum, Winter and Spring

Mowing the lawn stimulates healthy growth. However, make sure never to cut more than one-third of the grass blade’s total length to ensure that it grows back healthily. And make sure the blade on your mower is sharp – blunt blades rip the leaves, leaving them open to disease.

The quality mix varieties of our lawn seed don’t require start-up fertilizer before they can be planted, hence client can do that on their own choice, hence be careful not to use too much fertilizer to prevent seed from burning, too much fertilizer can lead to seed burn in the soil.

1. For small areas, it’s easy to sow grass seed by hand. ‘Carefully spread the seeds on the ground and cover them with round about 0.5 cm deep
2. Moisten the ground, mix the seed and scatter it evenly.

Sowing

Sow per square yard (1.5kg of GoGroe will covers 25m2 ) half from right to left and the other half from left to right to ensure a good coverage

Area Spread

For larger areas, you can use a spreader to sow the seed. ‘Trying to use your hands for large areas can lead to very uneven coverage of grass seed

Once you have sown your seed, carefully cover the seeds over with soil using either your hand or a rake. 

Watering

Immediately after planting your seed it is recommended that you water your seeds. twice daily. In case of dry weather use a fine spray to keep the seed bed well watered and moist
